Thank you for being here today.
I will review the Metabolic Cooking, it is essentially a package including their famous CookBook, full of recipes to achieve your body and health goals. As I love cooking and eating myself, I wasn’t sure of what a “Fat Loss” cooking book could teach me. But it is more than that. Being very much concerned about my Health and body, and I wouldn’t consider myself as a beginner in that domain, because I love to get new informations and studies in the weight loss industry
So due to my curiousness as I thought to myself “let’s see where this book is going”, plus with a title like “Metabolic Cooking” you definitely attract some attention. I am always looking for new ways to make my food enjoyable as I get bored easily cooking the same recipes in order to stay in shape.
Here are my thoughts about this product.

These are ALL the different items I got for the price. I received an Ebook on my phone, which is so convenient for me as I am always on the run. I use it when I do the groceries or when I wait for the train.
The first thing I did when I got it is to check if there was any sweet potato recipe. I am BIG on Sweet Potatoes, I eat them almost every day. They have this Cajun Style Sweet Potato Recipe. I can get enough of it ! It is healthy, delicious, and I know what’s inside. No weird processed over-caloric ingredients.
But enough with the features, let’s see the Pros & Cons.
Pros & Cons
Cons first : I’ll be straight forward and tell you what minor thing is bothering me in the book. There are so many recipes… but some of them contain Gluten. I am not a big fan of gluten but if you do not have any restrictions concerning this, then you are good to go ! They cover so many different “Diet restriction” Paleo, Vegetarian etc…
Pros : First of all, as I said before, you receive a digital product so you won’t have to worry about carrying it with you.
Second of all, you don’t just buy on book, there are 5 Ebooks and many other features. To me the best additional feature is the meal planner and the money saving tools and tips. We hate wasting our money and they understand that perfectly. They have a program just about Managing your Food Budget.
The recipes are all so easy to prepare, you don’t need any kind of cooking experience and fancy ingredients when it comes to applying.
Comparison and Competition
Before talking about this product, I did some research if there was any better alternative.
What did I find ?
- Few blogs with very few recipes
- Books written by people that are not in the Health and Fitness industry
The facts are that this book is written by two Passionate Fitness Cooks Karine Losier and Dave Ruel. That devoted their lives to helping people reaching their fitness goals. I feel more confident rather than when I don’t know the author of a blog or when I can clearly tell that the author of the book is not eating it their own recipe that they are trying to sell to me…
I only bought it because of the 250+ recipes. I am so glad there was all the bonuses for only $10 IN TOTAL…
Should you buy it ?
They are different aspects of this book. As you know, it is not just a book, it is a fitness book. And it is very niche oriented, so I thought ! (and I was wrong)
If you are looking for a “Super Cheesy Mac and Cheese” and you are not so concerned about Fitness, then no, this book is not for you.
Although… If you like Mac’n’ Cheese but you are aware enough to keep it for your Cheat Day, then you might want to have a look at it.
It is still a Gourmet CookBook.
The recipes are designed to be easy, delicious and healthy. I sneakily used these recipes when I invited people over when I didn’t want to cheat on my diet and they didn’t even know that is was “fitness foods”. Even the children devoured their plates.
Should you buy it ? Beginner or advanced, it’s a STRONG YES !
Conclusion : Yes you buy, but you buy value !
I am big on nutrition, but… a while ago, made the mistake to eat only steamed and boiled plan diet food. It wasn’t sustainable and even though I lost a lot of weight, I wasn’t in good health and I was miserable not eating the foods I like.
I, definitely, will NEVER go back to that diet, and I want you to learn from my mistakes.
Let’s talk about the main subject. What am I looking for in a cook book ? GOOD recipes.
I got served.
But more importantly, GOOD HEALTHY recipes.
Let’s face it… for $10 dollars you get way more value than any $30-$40-50 other healthy diet books.
Observe that they didn’t call it “DIET cooking”, they don’t want to be associated to all the terrible recipes that you can find everywhere on the internet. And for a good reason, they are so different. If you are concerned about what you put in your body, I would strongly advise that for your sake and your family’s to pick up your own copy. You can start using it today as it is digital content.
If you are ever not satisfied about it, they refund and let you keep it. Awesome right ?
I sincerely hope you enjoyed the review ! If you have tried or going to try it, please leave a comment below and let me know what you think about it !
